Put everything you've learned into practice by running a complete bulk generation workflow from source concept to exported ad set.
In this exercise, you're going to run a complete bulk ad generation workflow from start to finish β source concept to exported ad set β using a real or hypothetical campaign of your choice.
By the end of this exercise, you'll have a production-ready set of ad variations and a saved campaign template you can reuse on future projects.
Decide what you're going to work with:
Option A β Use a real campaign: Pick an existing ad from a current or recent campaign. It could be a social media post, a display ad, or even a print concept. Import the assets into Ad Legends via Brand Asset Management.
Option B β Create a fresh concept: Use the Brief Builder to define a simple campaign brief (product, audience, objective), then use Legendary Ideas or Fast Ads to generate your source concept. Pick the option you like best as your starting point.
Either way, make sure Brand Memory is active before you proceed.
Step 1 β Evaluate your source concept. Before generating anything, write down in one sentence what makes this concept worth scaling. What's the core insight? What's the visual hook? What elements are flexible?
Step 2 β Define your variation parameters. Decide what you're going to vary. Aim for at least three variation types:
Step 3 β Generate your variations. Run the bulk generation workflow as covered in the previous lessons. Don't overthink it β generate more than you need and filter later.
Step 4 β Review and refine. Use Grid View to do a fast review pass. Flag anything that needs attention, then make targeted edits. Aim to spend no more than 10 minutes on this step.
Step 5 β Resize for two platforms. Use the Ad Resizer to prepare your approved variations for at least two different platform formats β for example, Meta Feed (1:1) and Meta Stories (9:16).
Step 6 β Export your ad set. Batch export your final approved set. Check that the file naming is clear and the files are organised logically.
Step 7 β Save as a template. Before closing, save your campaign as a template for future use.
At the end of this exercise, you should have:
If you've hit all five checkpoints, you've successfully completed the bulk generation workflow. You're now equipped to apply this process to every campaign you run β and to save hours of production time every single week.
Use a real ad from a current or recent campaign if you have one β this makes the exercise immediately useful. If not, use Ad Legends' Legendary Ideas feature to generate a concept for a hypothetical product or brand you're familiar with.
Aim for at least 12-15 variations across at least 3 different variation types (e.g., 3 headlines Γ 2 images Γ 2 CTAs = 12 combinations). This gives you enough output to experience the full review and export workflow.
