Plug Ad Legends into ChatGPT, Claude, or your favorite AI agent.
Add Ad Legends to the AI you already use.
You can now plug Ad Legends into ChatGPT, Claude, Grok Bot, Muse, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Cursor, Codex and other AI agents. Once it's connected, the chat you already have open can build your Brand Memory, work up a strategy, write the brief, get ideas from the Legends and make finished ads. You ask in plain English. It does the work.
It feels like a superpower. Working this way feels about ten times faster to me than clicking through the same steps the old way. That's a feeling, not a lab number, so try it and judge for yourself. I'd rather bring the Legends to the window you already work in than ask you to come find them.
The short version
- What's new: Ad Legends works inside ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Grok Bot, Muse, Cursor, Codex and other MCP clients.
- How it connects: one address,
https://www.adlegends.ai/api/mcp/brands, plus a sign-in to your Ad Legends account. No key to paste into the chat. - What your AI can do: 198 tools. Brand Memory from your website, three strategic angles, a brief, Idea Sessions, the Legend Jury, Fast Ads and seven platform ad kits.
- What it won't do: buy media, or publish and schedule social posts. A person signs off.
- Directories: Ad Legends isn't in ChatGPT's public Plugins directory or Anthropic's Connectors Directory yet, so you add it as a custom MCP server or custom connector.
- Test it: start a fresh chat and type "Show my Ad Legends brands."
What happens when you ask your chatbot for an ad
Here's the full path, the way you'd run it in a chat. You can stop at any step.
It starts with your website. Paste the URL and Ad Legends builds your Brand Memory from it in one call. (The tool is called create_brand_from_url, if you're curious.) That memory is what the rest of the work starts from.
Next, ask for strategy. You get three strategic angles. Pick the one you like and it becomes a full strategic brief. I think this is the step that matters most. An ad with no strategy behind it is a guess with a nice font.
Then the Legends come in. Run an Idea Session and Legends from our roster write campaign ideas against your brief. Send the ideas you like to the Legend Jury and let the Legends judge the work. You're still the client. The Jury gives you a second opinion before you choose.
Now make the ads. Ask for Fast Ads and you get finished ads you can revise in plain words. Tell it the headline runs long and it rewrites it. It will also resize an ad for other placements, and animate it when you want motion. Building for one channel? Ask for an ad kit. There are seven, for Meta, LinkedIn, Google Search, YouTube, TikTok, X and ChatGPT.
Already have an ad you're not happy with? Give it to a Legend and see what comes back.
That's the whole chain, from a web address to finished ads, without leaving the chat.
Brand Memory gets better as you talk
If I could get every customer to do one thing early, it would be to work on their Brand Memory. You can do that from the same chat now. Read your brand guidelines and change them, swap in the right logos, set your fonts, or bring in a design system (and export one when you need it somewhere else). If your design system lives in Claude Design, here's how to bring it into Ad Legends.
When an ad comes back wrong, ask yourself whether the problem is that one ad or the guideline behind it. If it's the ad, ask for a revision. If it's the guideline, fix it right there in the conversation, and the next round starts from a better place. Your first pass at a brand doesn't have to be your last.
Put it on a schedule
This is where having Ad Legends inside an agent pays off.
The Legend Loop takes a goal and runs with it. You describe what you're after, and it works through the strategy and the brief on its own before handing you finished Fast Ads.
Because Ad Legends now sits behind an address your agents can call, you can also point a scheduled agent at it and fetch fresh creative every morning. A Claude Cowork automation can do that. So can a plain cron job, if someone on your team likes that sort of thing. I'd treat the morning batch as work to review, not work to ship blind.
Media plans recommend. They never buy.
Some things I don't want an AI doing without a person, and the tools are built that way. Ask for a media plan and you get a recommendation for where the money should go. It never buys media. Ask for social posts and you get drafts that wait for a person. It never publishes or schedules them.
198 tools, and you don't have to learn them
There are 198 tools behind that one connection today, and more coming all the time. Beyond what I've covered, there are tools for video, decks, audiences and focus groups, website blueprints, Art Director images and trend scans.
You don't need to know a single name. Your AI calls one tool, get_started, first and takes it from there. You talk about the ad you want. It picks the tools.
How to plug it in
For most apps it's two moves. Add one address, https://www.adlegends.ai/api/mcp/brands, then sign in to your Ad Legends account and approve access. There's no password or key to paste into the chat. Here's where to do it:
- ChatGPT: Open Plugins, choose Add, then Add custom MCP server. Pick OAuth and sign in. We're not in ChatGPT's public directory yet, so this is the way in. On a company workspace, policy can hide custom plugins. Full steps: ChatGPT custom MCP setup.
- Claude (web, Desktop and Cowork): Add it as a custom connector and sign in. The free plan allows one custom connector. On Team and Enterprise, an Owner adds it. Claude Code works too. Full steps: Claude MCP setup guide.
- Grok Bot: Install Ad Legends from the Cursor Directory plugin and sign in.
- Muse: Meta's Muse app adds new services as custom connectors when you ask it in chat. Our step-by-step guide for Muse is coming soon.
- Microsoft 365 Copilot: Your admin adds it as a connector (more below). Full steps: Microsoft 365 Copilot connector guide.
- Cursor: Same Cursor Directory plugin, or click Add to Cursor on our MCP page.
- Codex: In the desktop app, go to Settings, then MCP servers, and add the address as a Streamable HTTP server.
- VS Code, Hermes, OpenClaw and other MCP clients: Add the same address as a custom connector.
Once it's connected, start a fresh chat and type: "Show my Ad Legends brands." If your brands come back, you're in.
If your company runs on Microsoft 365
Copilot is the one your admin handles, because there's no ready-made listing to click. A Global or AI Administrator adds Ad Legends once as a custom connector in the Microsoft 365 admin center (Copilot, then Connectors, then Create a new connector), using OAuth 2.0. Everyone who uses it needs a Microsoft 365 Copilot license, and a new connector takes about 30 minutes to appear. Ad Legends also supports single sign-on with Microsoft Entra ID and other SAML 2.0 providers. Your admin will find the full steps in the Copilot guide above.
The app keeps getting better too
If you like working in adlegends.ai, keep working there. We keep investing in the app, and plugging in your AI doesn't change that. It's one more door into the same Legends and the same Brand Memory. We're also coming at it from the other side: Runner, which puts these same tools inside Ad Legends, is in early access.

ChatGPT, Claude (web, Desktop, Cowork and Claude Code), Microsoft 365 Copilot, Grok Bot, Muse, Cursor and Codex. VS Code, Hermes, OpenClaw and other MCP clients can add the same server address as a custom connector.
Not yet. Ad Legends isn't in ChatGPT's public Plugins directory or Anthropic's Connectors Directory, so you add it yourself: a custom MCP server in ChatGPT, a custom connector in Claude.
Not in chat apps. You sign in to your Ad Legends account and approve access, so there's no key to paste. Command-line tools can use a scoped key minted at /settings/mcp.

It calls get_started first, so you don't have to learn the tool names.
No. Media plans are recommendations and never buy media. Social posts come back as drafts that wait for a person; the agent never publishes or schedules them.

Yes. Point a scheduled agent at the server, such as a Claude Cowork automation or a cron job, and fetch fresh creative every morning. The Legend Loop takes a goal and runs strategy and brief through to finished Fast Ads.
