Channels (/channels) is the board. It holds everything your brand is ready to move into market: organic social posts and paid ads, side by side. Each card is an item with a platform, a status, and the brand it belongs to.
Connections (/connections) is the Connection Library. It's where accounts attach to brands: Facebook Pages, Instagram business accounts, LinkedIn profiles, X, TikTok, and Google Ads. Every connection belongs to exactly one brand, and everything the board publishes goes out through the connections of the item's own brand.
Items arrive as drafts:
- Fast Social results have an Add to Channels button on each platform's post. It stages a draft; nothing is scheduled yet.
- Fast Ads has an Add to Channels action on the canvas.
- On the board itself, Create social opens Fast Social, and Boost as ad or Schedule as organic converts an existing item into its paid or organic sibling.
The stat strip counts four things: On deck (drafts, scheduled, and publishing items), Scheduled, Published, and Needs attention (failed items). Below it, chips filter by kind (Everything, Social, Paid ads) and by status (All, Drafts, Scheduled, Publishing, Published, Failed), and you can flip between a Grid and a Calendar view.
Every item is in one of five working statuses:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|
draft | Staged, not yet scheduled or published |
scheduled | Has a future publish time; the executor will pick it up |
publishing | A publish is running right now |
published | Live on the platform, with a link to the post |
failed | The publish did not go through; the card shows the error and a Retry button |
Channels is gated during early access while platform app reviews complete. If you don't have access yet, /channels and /connections show a request-access page instead of the tool.
Lesson 2 connects your accounts to the right brand, which is the one step where care up front saves real cleanup later.
