The Default Is Everything
The Channels board defaults to All brands. Staged work can never vanish behind a silently pinned brand: if you don't choose a scope, you see everything you can access, with a brand chip on each card telling you whose it is.
The Viewing switcher at the top scopes the board to one brand or back to all. Your last choice is remembered, and the URL always carries the scope (/channels?brandId=42 or /channels?brandScope=all), so a link you share shows the person the same view.
Deep Links Carry the Brand
When Fast Social stages a post, its "View" action deep-links to the staged brand's board, not to whatever you looked at last. The same rule runs everywhere: cross-surface handoffs carry the brand in the URL, so what one surface stages, the next surface shows.
If a remembered brand is deleted or no longer shared with you, the board says so and falls back to All brands rather than stranding you on an empty page.
Every item belongs to one brand, and publishing resolves the connection from the item's own brand. On the All-brands board, every per-item action (publish, schedule, edit, delete) is pinned to that item's brand. Content can never publish through another brand's account.
Connections Across Brands
The Connection Library has the same two modes. One brand at a time is where you connect and manage. All brands is a read-only inventory grouped by brand, showing each connection's health at a glance, with Open library jumping into any brand's own library. Connecting always happens on one brand.
Habits That Keep Multi-Brand Clean
- Check the brand plate before you connect, and the Viewing switcher before you judge an empty board.
- When work seems missing, switch to All brands first. Scoping filters the view; it never deletes.
- Let the duplicate guard and the account picker do their jobs: they exist so the same login can serve many brands without any brand publishing through the wrong account.
